ABOUT
Jessika Perez, also known under her maiden name Jessika Nguyen, is a Vietnamese German filmmaker based in Queens, New York. Her goal is to make creative and unique films that not only represent minorities but also connect with the audience.

She specializes in writing, directing, camera operating, assisting, acting, and video editing. With her short film Mother's Dearest, she was granted the Women's Media Group scholarship at the Fashion Institute of Technology to advance her craft.
​
With her film Aurora currently in the works, Jessika hopes to be able to mark her name at film festivals.
